Dirt Series Round 6

All the Dirt from Milestone MX

April 19, 2013

ImageRound 6 of the all-new Dirt Series Presented by Triumph Motorsports took place at Milestone MX in Riverside, CA.
The Dirt Series is a new style eight round MX/ATV/UTV racing series based in Southern California and presented by a ton of industry leading sponsors. Since the Dirt Series is offering over $65,000 worth of cash and prizes and impressive contingency programs from GBC and STI that total over $20,000 the series grows with each round.
The Dirt Series is that series you hear about when it comes to a fun local series. The goal for the weekend is to have a fun and safe time racing. If you haven't had a chance to check out the event for yourself come out and check it out! It is a blast!
Round 6 was rescheduled due to a lack of cooperation at the existing scheduled venue. With last minute plans Scott of Dirt Promotions brought the race to Milestone MX. Even though changes and prep were made last minute entries remained strong, in fact, the parking lot was packed! If you came late you were looking hard for a place to park.
This round was one of the best rounds yet, great racing, great people and since it's a one-day event – the rest of the Labor Day weekend was yours.

Below are some of the highlights....

ImageH&M / Elka / Maxxis Dave Haagsma came down from Bakersfield to take home all the Pro money!

ImageThe 450 Intermediate class was won by Edgar Martinez.

Image#51 James Gorman has dominated the Production 850 class all season and round six was no different.

ImageMichael Gonzales soared his Rhino to the front of the pack in the Production 700 class. The UTVs were flying at Milestone, UTVs are here to stay and are a blast to watch.

ImageMINI's? Check, and READY!

ImageTriumph Motorsports' Jerry Maldonado took the win in the Open 250 and the 450 Novice class and took second in the Quad Open class.

ImageScott Santellan walked away with Vet 30 class win.

Make sure to come out to the last couple rounds - Cahuilla Creek and Pala - Two VERY fun tracks! The Pala round will hold a BBQ and series ending prizes.
