Dirt Series Round 7

ImageRound 7 of the all-new Dirt Series Presented by Triumph Motorsports took place at Cahuilla Creek MX in Anza, CA.

The Dirt Series is a unique eight-round MX/ATV/UTV racing series based in Southern California and presented by a ton of industry leading sponsors. Since the Dirt Series is offering over $65,000 worth of cash and prizes, and impressive contingency programs from GBC and STI that total over $20,000, the series grows with each and every round.

The Dirt Series offers the events that you hear about when it comes to a fun local no-pressure series. The goal for the weekend is to have a fun and safe time racing. If you haven’t had a chance to check out a round or two for yourself we highly suggest it. It’s a blast!

Round 7 was one of the best rounds yet. The turn out was great and the track was even better.

The next round in Pala, CA on October 20th will be the final round of the series. The event will be followed up by a huge awards ceremony / BBQ so come out and join in on the festivities. There will be games, prizes and awards given to the series Champions. The final round will be a GP format using the Amateur track/ offroad section.

ImageThe kid turn out has been great, as you can see in this practice pre-staging photograph.

ImageCory Dehoog has been on a mission all series. He has all but clinched his first championship with Sunday’s win in the Prod 1000 class.

 

ImageZen Pro’s Brittany Richert took the lead in the beginning and went on to win the 450 beginner class with a fantastic ride.

 

ImageNorthern California’s Steven Daniels made the long journey worthwhile with a walk-away-win in the Pro Am ranks.

 

ImageTriumph Motorsports’ Jerry Maldonado was once again on the box in every class, 1st in 250 Open, 1st in 450 Open and 3rd in the 450 Novice. Wow!

ImageCan Am / Motoworks / DWT Dillon Zimmerman won the PEP Suspension Pro Holeshot Prize money and drove home with all the Pro class money as well.

ImageIt’s no wonder Carter Vanderbroek is leading the series in the Quad 50 class, he’s a great little rider.
