Joe Byrd and Doug Gust have had their way with the first three rounds of the series, but look out pro competition, after dominating with two picture perfect motos at the recent Echeconnee GNC, "Ironman" Natalie is back to his winning ways. And if history repeats itself, Natalie will win the next two rounds and further his current points lead, a scenario that might haunt his competition as the season progresses.
In moto one, timeless wonder Doug Gust got out of the gate a little slow and began the fight to the front from eighth. Gust methodically used the whole moto to work himself into the two-spot. As the checkers approached Gust narrowed Natalie's lead to four second. Amazingly, once again "Digger" Doug Gust looked as strong on the last lap as he did on the first. The stage was set for moto two, a good ole' fashioned duel in the sand was inevitable.
Check out our video race coverage below to get an idea on how it all went down at this year's Lizella GNC (formerly known as the Macon GNC) and check out Natalie's impressive moto two holeshot. Wow!
Finally, be sure to check out our latest "Behind the Gate" feature. We followed Joe Byrd's right-hand-man Chris Delagard and got an inside look at just how important it is to have good help while chasing a championship.

| While riders head back to their pits, hard-working Suzuki mechanic Paul Turner quickly volunteers to help clean off the podium. Echeconnee trophy girl and event scorer Ashley Carden should look familiar - we proudly featured her as our Miss Scene Girl - May 2005. |
