Dirt Series Round 4
- Updated: April 19, 2013
Round 4 of the all New Dirt Series shocked Comp. Edge in Hesperia, CA this past weekend.
The Dirt Series is a new style eight round MX/ATV/UTV racing series based in Southern California and presented by Triumph Motorsport. Since the Dirt Series is offering over $65,000 worth of cash and prizes and impressive contingency programs from GBC and STI that total over $20,000 the series grows with each round.
Round four was no different. As riders arrived they were forced to deal with high winds and dusty conditions from the High Desert, but as motos approached the weather calmed down and allowed some of the best racing yet.
Here’s our round four highlights….
We’re happy to report that spectators, racers and vendors are continure to grow with each round of the series.
WORCS food vendor Brad of Daddy’s famous foods has brought his great tasting food and warm demeanor out to the Dirt Series – Thank you Brad for your hospitality and great food!
Along with our usual vendors GBC, Triumph, STI, Leatt, and Triumph we had some new additions to the Dirt Series.
As everyone knows the Dirt Series’ name derived from bringing whatever you want to the races and racing it. The Honda Pilot is an old friend that we haven’t seen on a race track in a long while.
Justin Lambert took home the Prod 850 class victory.
GBC’s Kayla Smith took home her 4th win of the Series! She once again dominated the Production 700 class.
Triumph’s Christian “Chu Dog” Maldonado swepped both his moto’s at round 4 winning the 450 Beginner class and the Open 250 aboard his trusty Yamaha Raptor 250.
The Open 250 is one of the bigger classes and definitely one of the most exciting to watch! These future stars are turning it out!
Little guys charge their way to the first corner.
The fourth round of the series brought out some fast professionals including Roll Design/Elka’s David Haagsma.
