ATV Scene: First give us a quick list on who you would like to thank for your tremendous success in the sport that has been your life?
Denton: I surrounded myself with the best people in racing. I give much thanks to: U.S Suzuki Corp, Wayne Hinson of Hinson Racing, Terry Varner of Varner Racing and Arlan Lehman of LRD.
ATV Scene: If you could go back and change something about your career in ATV racing, what would it be?
Denton: Nothing! Absolutely nothing.
ATV Scene: What was your favorite (MX or TT)
Denton: I liked them both equally.
ATV Scene: What was it like when the factories fielded full-on teams?
Denton: It was great! We had it all – baby sitters, flights, motels, rented cars. Everything was provided.
ATV Scene: When do you think the manufacturers will field teams again? Who do you think they will turn to for riders, mechanic and managers?
Denton: I’m thinking in two to three years. I’m not sure who they’ll turn to, but it’s always been a dream of mine to manage a team.
ATV Scene: What needs to happen in your opinion to make ATV racing more mainstream?
Denton: Simple, manufacture involvement.
