2011 Yamaha Raptor 125

ImageYamaha Strengthens ATV Line with All-New Raptor 125 Sport ATV

Yamaha’s all-new Raptor 125 introduces Yamaha performance and engineering to the entry-level or step-up sport ATV market. This is the first 125-class sport ATV from a major ATV manufacturer. The Raptor 125 is a true-sport machine with a 124cc, two valve, single overhead cam engine, five-speed manual transmission, electric start, hydraulic disk brakes and five-way preload adjustable suspension. All combined, the new 125 has the same great suspension components and handling characteristics of the award-winning Raptor 250. The Raptor 125 also gets new Maxxis sport tires – 19-inches in front and 18-inches in back.

Thats the spirit, make it look nothing like a factory ATV.

That should bring the Factory spirit back.

This is a step in the right direction a good, reliable platform for kids to start riding, but $5K for a kids bike? I paid $6500 just a few years ago for my YFZ. Why the hell had quad prices jumped so much in the last 2 or 3 years? Sure I would like to see a CRF150 type motor in one but how much would that cost 6 or 7 grand?

Ya, kinda weird to advertise 14 years old, but 12 year olds race the Raptor 250.

But why is there so many rules and regulations regarding ATV’s but yet Dirt Bikes can come and go as they please?
