Milestone MX Ranch in Riverside, CA has generously welcomed ATV racers with their successful FNL ATV Summer Series. Without such a great place to race FNL’s success would not be possible. To the approval of all that got to experience the inaugural Friday night series, the Milestone staff has done a phenomenal job prepping and maintaining the track and the facilities.

Several ATV racing amateurs were awarded series-ending awards and contingency prizes, making the series grand finale a big hit.

Below are highlights from the final round of the FNL Series…

ImageWith over $2000 worth of prizes up for grabs it was no wonder spectators and racers stuck around till the end of the night.

ImageVendor participation has been wonderful all season. Great Vendors like GBC, FLY, Fasst Co, Dio Vonti, Leatt, DWT, Motoworks and Triumph Motorsports were present at every round to help out with trackside needs.

ImageKory Ellis of GBC has been on hand at every round. He has been a huge asset to the series. “I am so exciting to see local racing at this level in California and GBC is happy to be a part of such a great series,” said Ellis.

ImageThe Pro class, in addition to the 100% payback for the night, has been getting $200 a night for the rider who gets the holeshot. Holeshot award money is presented by PEP and H&M Motorsports. Pros like Beau Baron, Jeremie Warnia, Kory Ellis, Davi Haagsma have been racing the series but Haagsma’s Sparks motors have been stealing all the holeshot loot.

ImageCollin Webster, normally a Pro Am WORCS racer, came out to work on his short game. Collin rides for Team Can-Am / Motoworks, and with how that ATV performed you would say it was as fast as some factory ATVs.

“What a great way to spend a Friday night. The racing, the lights, the perfect weather, and the people. It just doesn’t get any better than that.” – Oscar Franco

“I just want to thank the riders, teams and families for supporting the series while we build for the future. I’m excited for the Fall Night Series picking up were the summer series left off and the Surprise finale!” – Scott Burns

“Really good racing on a really nice track! The Milestone facility is one of the nicest tracks I have ever been to. Night racing is the way to go in the summertime.” – Quad Tech’s Billy Pointer

“I think the FNL ATV series presented by Triumph Motorsports is going to be the next premier ATV series in SoCal. Great fans, great riders and great vendors makes this series a very nice night series to be a part of. I cannot wait for the next one!” – Tyson Coombs of Dio Vonti / STI

“This series has been a whirl-wind of excitement. To have this much support in an economy like this just shows what we are doing here is much needed. The summer series has just scratched the surface of what is to come. The Fall/Winter series will be even better with an ATV giveaway, and Pro/ Pro AM purses, there will be something for everyone to shoot for. I feel this is the exciting ATV racing that has been missing from the area. It was nice to hear at the last round from a racer that this isn’t just a local race, this is an event. That’s awesome to hear when you are just starting a series, and we’ve just begun!” – Anthony Martin of Triumph Motorsports

What’s next?
Winter dates have been set for Sept 30, Oct 7, Nov 18, Dec 2 and Dec 16, however, due to the growing numbers Milestone is considering a Quad Only Saturday Night series for the racers. Right now the dates are part of Friday Night Lights, but can soon change to the immediate Saturday following each date. Location for he first round may also be changed.

There is so much more in store for the Fall series. FNL promises to put on a great event for the racers with Pro purses and even more amateur prizes, but also promises not to leave out spectators. There will be some great racing in the Pro class and even a “Pro Class Lottery” Stay tuned for more details, and contact Scott Burns at 951-777-6144 for more information.
