Chad Wienen wins third championship aboard Goldspeed Wheels

Goldspeed_Chad-Wienen_14Goldspeed Racing Products is pleased to announce that Chad Wienen capped off the 2014 AMA ATVA National Championship with one final win after solidifying his third championship a round early at Red Bud Motocross park.

The Wienen Motorsports/Yamaha racer has been a force to be reckoned with since forming his own team back in 2012. After a successful championship bid in 2012, Wienen expanded the team to include several new faces and a redesigned program that included Goldspeed Racing Products for 2013.

After dominating the 2013 season, winning 8 of 10 races, Wienen joined forces with Goldspeed Racing Products again for 2014 winning 7 out of 9 races and never finishing below second place.

“We were excited for the opportunity to work with Chad again this year after being a part of his second championship in 2013” said Ty Zimmerman, President of Goldspeed Racing Products USA. “Chad is the guy to beat right now and we’re grateful that he puts his trust in our product to help him get to the top.”

An elated Wienen had this to say about his partnership with the brand. “Goldspeed wheels have been a vital part of our machine this year, with dependable durability. That is what we need to win championships.”

After a bumpy start to the year, Wienen’s teammate Thomas Brown managed to turn the tables with a win at round four, finishing all but one of the five remaining rounds on the podium. After a hard fought battle, Brown would finish out the year in third place overall, just two points down from second place.
