May 19th, 2014 marked the 4th round of the 2014 Dirt Series Presented by Triumph Motorsports. The MX series has grown so much in just the short time it has been around. Offering genres from MX Dirt Bike, ATV, UTV and trophy karts allows all types racers and their friends and families to bring new possibilities to the series. The Dirt Series is one of the best series to race in Southern California. Lucas Oil’s Starwest MX Park hosted round 4 of the Dirt Series. Starwest has been around for a long time and did a great job with the track prep.

The tire and wheel companies STI / GBC / GMZ / ITP are pitching in for a combined $100k worth of contingency for the year! The Dirt Series invites anyone and everyone to come out and have fun regardless of what you race, so by all means come out and check it out for yourself.

Wayne Anderson came out to round 4 from Arizona, and rode very well! Wayne had a crash in one of his first motos, but put it behind him and stayed on the gas the rest of the day. This kid has heart!

If you look closely at this picture you will see Justin Luna with a cast on his left arm. Not even a cast can stop this kid from putting down some crazy fast laps. Justin led quite a few laps in the 450 Novice class.

Bill Markel was working demolition for the Starwest MX track this day. Bill took out over 40 feet of fencing and 3 post with his Raptor 660 - I'm kidding, Bill had a pretty good crash, but got up and finished the day. Glad to see Bill was ok, he's a good racer and a great guy!
