Moto and Monster Truck Madness NY Road Trip

I’m going say last weekend was one of the best we’ve had in a long time. Yeah the show was awesome, the road trip was very entertaining, but the best part was hanging out with one of the coolest dudes known to man, Sean Sermini. Now for you younglings that don’t recognize the name, Sean was once a major player in the ATV Nationals. He starred in the early Huevos and Quatros Locos films, so it’s highly likely that you may have seen him cartwheel an ATV or two. Now that he’s aged and in his prime, he’s taken a more of a suit and tie position, while still remaining in the game.
Putting on an event like the “Moto and Monster Truck Madness” takes quite a bit of effort. It down poured rain the night before and first night of the weekend, so building the course was pretty much a nightmare. We helped Sean on the track till 4 AM, and worked all day the following to get the track into decent shape. Although they had to cancel night one, we pulled it off and turned a disaster into a great weekend! Jon performed flawless backflips, while Clint Esposito, Ray Bennett, and Ben Veyna put on a great show on their dirt bikes. I’m not much of a monster truck fan myself, but Sean brought in some great drivers and these guys were launching off our massive 13 ft tall landing ramps!
Big thanks to Serm for having us and showing us a great time! Thanks Bartman, Andy, and everyone that came out to the show for a great experience. Enjoy these photos taken by Bart Engelstad and Andy Nelson, and the video Bart put together with some cool GoPro footage!
