Stephanie Parton 9-20-05

Stephanie Parton is currently sits 2nd place in the Women’s Class, only one point behind Traci Cecco, and fifth overall in the AM wave. With only a few races left, it’s anyone’s guess on who will win the overall. We recently had the chance to talk with her. Here’s what she had to say…

ATV Scene: What kind of vehicle do you drive?
Parton: A Chevy Avalanche. I have an interesting story about it.

ATV Scene: Let’s hear it.
Parton: Shortly after getting my new Avalanche and new enclosed trailer, we were driving down in southeast Ohio on some curvy roads. We came up over the hill and a huge tree had just fallen in the road from the bank to the guard-rail. There was nowhere to go but forward over the tree. We were going about 55 mph with the loaded trailer. We actually jumped the truck/trailer over the 1 ½ foot tall tree and made it!! What a ride that was!! Needless to say, the car behind us couldn’t stop in time either, but she didn’t make it.

ATV Scene: Wow!! What a story. Glad you are OK, along with the truck and trailer. What is your favorite place on Earth?
Parton: Southeast Ohio Woods

ATV Scene: Who would play you in a movie?
Parton: Jennifer Garner

ATV Scene: If you could meet anybody, living or deceased, who would it be and why?
Parton: No one on the top of my head. I’ve already met so many fabulous people in the ATV industry and I’m sure I’ll meet more in the future.

ATV Scene: Words to live by?
Parton: When in doubt, GAS IT!!

ATV Scene: Favorite color?
Parton: Pink

ATV Scene: Favorite band/singer?
Parton: No one in particular. I listen to everything except county.

ATV Scene: Favorite movie?
Parton: Star Wars/Elf/A Christmas Story.

ATV Scene: One sport/activity you would never try?
Parton: Bungee jumping
